visual marketing by ko-kane

Visual platforms have dominated the social media space for few years now and have created a shift. The domination of YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram has made social media an increasingly visual platform over the past couple of years. Users find content more engaging when it’s accompanied by visual.

Now users are limited to shorter text (twitter – 140 characters), while longer post runs the risk of being ignored whereas graphics and videos can more rapidly provide information, often in more engaging and fun way. For example see below Infographic in which we have shared some tips for you. It’s more appealing to look at and easy to grasp…isn’t? 🙂

Here are some facts and tips without the visuals:

  • On average, there are 1000,000,000 mobile video views per day
  • 9% of US small businesses use YouTube

  • 100 million users
  • 42% female users
  • The best time to pin is Saturday from 8pm-11pm
  • 66% of content that users Pin comes from brand websites
